What does this signify?

Posted

I'm an avid reader, although lately I don't seem to have had time to either read... or blog (sorry).

But now I'm making a concerted effort to go back to that which I was reading a couple of weeks ago. And I find I have four books on the go at once. Is this normal or am I a bit strange.

Even more interesting is the extreme diversity from one end of the spectrum to the other. The books are:

  • Dynamic Spiritual Leadership (J Oswald Sanders)
  • The Name of the Rose (Umberto Eco)
  • Perry Rhodan - In the Center of the Galaxy (Clark Dalton)
  • The Message of Romans (A commentary by John RW Stott)
OK, the last one is my main research reading for a series on Romans that I'm preaching, and there are obviously other books I'm delving into besides.

The question remains... Am I unusual, or do a lot of you have multiple books on the go too?
