During the week I discovered the presentation mode on my Mindjet MindManager program.

It's a view that allows you to close the current node/branch, go to the next node/branch of your map, open that branch and centre it, all with the push of one key [tab].

Hence...

becomes...

with the touch of one button.

Last night as I preached, I took advantage of this. I had my tablet sideways on the lecturn. Opened out flat with the screen in portrait mode I was able to simply [tab] my way through my message. The words were large and backlit (lately my eyesight has deteriorated just enough to make close reading of smallish type difficult. The other solution is glasses, but that would mean I wouldn't see my congregation clearly!)

This was a neat solution that was extremely unobtrusive. (NB. I did print out my notes also... just in case!)
